Ana Murcho is a writer and editor based in Lisbon, Portugal. After studying Film and Journalism, she graduated in Communication Sciences and began her career in Público, one of the country’s most prominent newspapers. Over the last two decades, she has contributed with several magazines and also made a stint at PR, for institutional and luxury brands such as LisbonWeek and Hermès. After a few seasons in Los Angeles, where she sought inspiration for her soon to be published book, Home Alone, she started an eight-year partnership with Vogue Portugal — first as a journalist and then, for five years, as managing editor. Now self employed, she writes for various media outlets and private companies, mainly about art, fashion, movies and books.
